I talked with Jocelyn Zuckerman, Executive Editor of a publication known as the Modern Farmer Magazine and asked for an overview. It is about three years old. We like to think of ourselves as the authoritative resource for today's cutting edge food producers and consumers. That is everything from farmers, want to be farmers, chefs and home cooks influencing the way we all eat. That includes people who are interested in where our food comes from and what that means for our society. We have a mix of service which is very hands on, I. E., How to build a tomato cage, how to figure out which cover crops to grow, to aspirationa,l beautiful lifestyle stories and then more hard hitting reporting on things like labor organizations and what does the organics label really mean? I would guess your readership is not just farmers but foodies in general. Absolutely. Chefs, folks who like to go to the farmers market, yes, they might not grow thing but they are interested in how things taste and what went into growing whatever they are putting on their plates. Everything from labor issues, to environmental issues, to flavor issues." Sounds like the perfect magazine for millennial's.
