Yesterday we met and heard from Scott Rockholm. Scott is an outdoorsman and hunter, a ranch hand who is very much in tune with the ranching roots of his family, his grandfather was a rancher and all of his friends are ranchers. It does not end there. Scott has produced a documentary film entitled ‘Yellowstone is Dead’ and is working on a second documentary. The theme of both films is designed to expose what he considers the lies, deception and fraud surrounding the reintroduction of wolves to the Northwest. “I literally spent thousands of hours a year poring over studies, documents, communications between agencies. I literally became a one person investigative unit on the wolf issue. In that process, I met several people along the way. Former officials from Fish and Wildlife Service, one being Jim Beers and he was the center of my film ‘Yellowstone is Dead’ where I exposed that not only was the science corrupt in wolf introduction itself into Idaho, Montana and Wyoming but they stole $70 million in tax money to do it. The agency that introduced wolves stole the money from the taxpayers, from the people who bought arms and ammunition. Those monies were supposed to be directed toward wildlife restoration projects and instead they divergent that money toward other projects within the wolf issue. Also within that work, I uncovered the fraud in the science. I forced several of these people to come clean with respect to the balance of nature. The media kept pushing that the balance of nature and wolves are good and we can manage wolves.
