Environmental stewardship and conservation have long been the focus of America's foremost land stewards: farmers and ranchers. We realize this importance and have developed the Environmental Stewardship Program to assist you in learning more about the environment, conservation, stewardship practices and educational opportunities

This week members of the ESAP selection committee met in Bismarck, ND at the Black Leg Ranch which was the 2016 national winners. They were in North Dakota to review the 2018 nominees from each of the seven NCBA regions and select winners.

"We have tremendously competitive applications this year" said T Wright Dickinson, a cattleman from Browns Park, CO and this year's selection committee co-chair." "It's to a credit to the stewards and ranchers that take care of our land and natural resources across the nation. I really encourage operations to apply because everyone is a great steward and everyone has a great story to tell."

The 2018 regional ESAP winners will be announced during the NCBA summer business meeting Aug 1-4 in Denver, CO.
