Collections scheduled for Idaho are safe, legal and free. Talked with ISDA's Bob Spencer regarding their schedule for unusable pesticide disposal. Agricultural producers, dealers, professional applicators and homeowners who are storing unusable pesticides will have a safe, legal and free opportunity to dispose of them when the Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) conducts its unusable pesticide collections this month.

Pesticides include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides or anything with a "cide" at the end. Unusable pesticides should be taken to the closest collection site between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the date and location listed below. No fertilizer, micronutrients, paint, solvents, or motor oil can be accepted at the collections. Collections will occur at the end of the month, September 26th through the 28th in Twin Falls, Gooding and Nampa.
