Author and researcher Carrey Gillam has spent an awfully long time studying the effects of glyphosate on human health and she is not a fan of Roundup. AMVAC Chemical Corporation has announced that its new broad spectrum, low use rate corn herbicide, ImpactZ, has received federal registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The company says ImpactZ herbicide will give growers a new safe and flexible solution for control of tough broadleaf and grass weeds – including glyphosate resistant species – in corn. The herbicide contains both Impact® and Atrazine for control of grass and broadleaf weeds in corn.
