With today's Fruit Grower Report, I'm Bob Larson. The deadline is fast approaching! You have until midnight tonight to register, at early bird prices, for the Washington Wine Grower's Association 2019 Convention and Trade Show, February 11-thru-14 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick ...

STRAUB ... "The theme is "Intentional from Grape to Glass." To be intentional means one is taking their time to be thoughtful, purposeful, looking at all different sides of a decision, seeing how their own business and operations fits into the bigger industry picture and coming up with a well-designed plan that not only results in a unique product, but a repeatable process and something that can be sustainable."

The Association's Katlyn Straub says the theme is about the work being done at every level ...

STRAUB ... "Intentional from Grape to Glass really sums up what the work of Washington wine growers and winemakers are doing on a daily basis. You know, they're being intentional in the vineyard and the cellar and they're building thriving businesses and navigating regulations and navigating unique nuances that come up in the vineyard and in the cellar. And so, we really wanted to honor that, but also allow professional development growth for our attendees to really take a deep dive into asking the why behind their daily decisions."

She says the deadline for early bird prices is tonight, but you can still register online until January 31st. All registration after that will be on site.

Listen tomorrow for more on this year's Washington Wine Growers Association Convention and Trade Show.
