A Second Job Opportunity with Colorado Cattlemen's Association

Yesterday I shared information about an exciting job opportunity with Partners For Western Conservation and the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association as an Agriculture Water NetWORK Coordinator. Today we will learned more about a second opening with the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association. CCA Executive Vice President Terry Fankhauser shares more about the role responsibilities of the Director of Industry Programs and what they are looking for in the ideal candidate for this position.
Fankhauser: “It administers a number of the programs we have from our legal center to working for some of our Ranching Legacy Program with our young producers throughout the state. It also works closely with myself and our leadership with policy and regulation issues. Represents the Association as the face to the industry and the people that we interact with, agencies we interact with on a number of issues. Works on our air and water quality issues. So a very intricate part of the association and our qualifications there is really someone who comes from the beef industry. Understands the beef understand. Has some experience in the professional world after college. Has a desire to work with producers. Be with a trade association and really go out and be the face and voice and advocate for producers on issues and programs of importance to Colorodo.”
