A big dog show is coming up in June for sportsmen and you won’t want to miss it if you’re interested in hunting dogs of any variety.

 A sportsmen’s show called the gun dog Expo is coming to Portland June 22 through the 24th. I called Kirsten Fulk of Field of Dreams boarding and training kennel to get all of the details since she is so involved with a hunting dog community. “Last year the Gun Dog  Expo was in Albany, Oregon and this. Is moved to Portland. This is a sportsmen’s show for upland, waterfowl and hound hunters so there will be dog clubs, dog breeders, dog trainers, equipment suppliers. We’ve got some TV stars that are going to be there doing some training seminars, Scott Linden of wing shooting USA, Dez Young of Hunting with Hank, there is a new waterfowl show coming on in that is going to start in June and it is called Duck, Dog, Waterfowl and we have the 2 stars from that show. We have tons of vendors and we have some vets who are going to be doing talks, we’ve got dealing with aging gun dogs, dealing with bloat, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is going to be presenting the Oregon dog training rules and regulations, they are also going to be giving some game bird data and public access information talks, so it is going to be a great show June 22, 23rd, and 24th. $8 to get in for adults and active duty military service personnel get in free.
