New PerforMix Facility Opening in Southern Idaho

Although the Grand Opening doesn't happen until May 18th, the newest PerforMix plant in Rupert, Idaho began producing product this week. PerforMix Sales and Procurement Mitch Anderson shares more details about this new plant in southern Idaho which is the company's fourth facility.

Anderson: "So our business is growing. We got some opportunities with capacity restrains at the our current plants that we just needed additional asset to help with that short fall. The design of this new plant in Rupert gives us that capacity and allows us to grow our business."

Anderson continues with more detail about state of the art technology being used in this new facility.

Anderson: "Other than being the just most technological and most advanced and high speed facility. It has the ability to suspend products in liquid form that will allow us to get the same nutrients consistently into the animal day after day. I think in a liquid form we are able to adhere to the forages that are on the farm and just keeps the shrink factor and the intake into the animal at optimum levels for a consistent production for on-farm application."
