Cattle Industry Convention Approaching

Believe it or not 2014 is rapidly approaching bringing with it the 116th Annual Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Trade show which will happen February 4th through the 7th in Nashville.

NCBA Senior Vice President of Industry and Member Services Marvin Kokes shares more details.

Kokes: “We’ve got some exciting speakers. Our opening general session speaker is Captain Phillips -- which not Tom Hanks -- actually the real Captain Phillips. We also have Archie Manning and as part of our general two session the vice president of McDonalds speaking at Cattlemen’s College talking about McDonald’s vision for the beef business. We got Trace Atkins as our headliner and five other entertainers.”

Whether you’ve been attending for years or never participated -- this year’s convention will be worth your while as he explains.

Kokes: “If you really want to go and learn a lot and enjoy and meet with other cattlemen, you real need to come to this convention. You will have a once in a lifetime experience every single day of this annual meeting. There is a lot of education and a lot of fun. It will be one of the best values of your time and money that you will ever invest. It is simple to do just go to beefusa.org and register. You can get your registration and your housing done.”
