12-3 FB Wine Competition

 Idaho Wines win 21 Golds at the Idaho Wine Competition conducted by Wine Press Northwest.  On October 5th in Richland, Washington, six judges took their seats to taste 111 Idaho wines submitted for this years competition. The judges swirled, sniffed, sipped and spit the selection of Idaho wines submitted. By the end of the competition, several medals had been awarded to the fantastic wineries of Idaho. There were a total of 106 medals awarded: 17 gold medals, 4 double gold medals, 57 silver medals and 28 bronze medals. The coveted Best In Show went to Snake River Winery 2010 Arena Valley Vineyard Sangiovese in the Snake River Valley. Here’s Executive Director of the Idaho Wine Commission Moya Dolsby: “I was impressed and really surprised at the wide range of winners and Snake River wineries really cleaned up. I was really happy for them. The media exposure that we are getting is very exciting.”
