Jeff Keane
Jeff Keane a Washington State University Alum and fourth generation rancher personalizes the business of ranching each week on the American Rancher radio program. Along with everyday ranch life, Jeff's experiences as a rodeo competitor and an arena pick-up man bring a variety of antidotes and insight to the airwaves. In addition to ranching and rodeoing, Jeff has worked with youth at both the high school and college level as a Vocational Ag instructor. Jeff has never been one to sit on the sidelines and has used his communication skills to represent cattlemen's views by serving on a variety environmental committees, cattlemen's associations, county fairs and rodeo boards. Jeff is proud of his ranch broke horses with linage tracing back to his grandfathers mares and is involved in the family wheat and Charolais-crossbred cow-calf operation. His wit and ability to connect with a crowd have made him a coveted speaker at numerous ag industry events. Jeff and his wife Carol live and work the family homestead in Central Washington. Jeff enjoys cowboy poetry, a good horse and being a grandpa.
